In addition, the resort complex has 3 hotels: Disneyland Hotel, the Grand Californian and Paradise Pier. You will also find a shopping, dining and entertainment area central to the resort area known as Downtown Disney.

Walt Disney World opened in 1971 with the Magic Kingdom theme park and 2 hotels (the Contemporary Hotel and Polynesian Village). Today, the resort complex has 3 additional theme parks (EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom), 2 Water Parks and a Sports Complex. Walt Disney World has more than 25 resort hotels available for guests. Disney Springs provides an area for shopping, dining and additional entertainment.
